Event Description:
Avery Brown is believed to be the youngest person to enlist in the Union Army during the Civil War. At only 8 years old he enlisted in the Union Army. This program will chronicle his 18 month journey during the war, and will also unveil a new display showcasing one of Brown’s drums.
