Event Description:

Oakwood Resort is pleased to host the Freezin for a Reason Polar Plunge, which is just one of the activities for Syracuse's 2015 Winterfest. Benefits from the plunge will go to the Boomerang Backpack Program at area schools. Prizes for most money raised and best costumes. Registration forms available at Oakwood Resort or Syracuse Chamber of Commerce. An award ceremony will follow on The Pier Restaurant back porch where food and drink will be available followed by live music from 6pm to 9pm in the Pier Bar.

Fees/Admission:

$25 registration fee for individuals and $100 registration fee for teams. No charge for spectators, but canned and dry food will be accepted for the local food pantry.
