“Conflict: You can’t live with it; you can’t live without it”
When conflict surfaces, what do we do? Who should respond? What’s my responsibility?
With the ever changing realities of organizational systems, conflict is a reality. It is also often perceived as a negative, something to avoid. Conflict however, within its proper context, can be a positive. This seminar will provide an overview of three forms of conflict and the impact it has, both positive and negative, within organizational systems. We will also consider various possibilities of response. The three forms of conflict considered will be subtle dysfunctional conflict, interpersonal episodic conflict and leadership team conflict.
Bill Born, Partner, Venture International LLC, will be the presenter for the seminar. Bill is in his second year as a partner with Venture International LLC after 26 years in higher education. His focus areas currently include crisis management and communication, DiSC® assessments, leadership development and project management and strategic planning.
