Goshen Theater Visual Arts Series features the works of South Bend Artist, David Allen. David Allen has been painting since the age of 16. He lives in South Bend and has paintings in the collections of the South Bend Museum of Art and the Midwest Museum of American Art. He has worked with galleries in Chicago, New York, and South Bend and his work has been included in multiple exhibitions throughout the Midwest. David is best known for his city and neighborhood scenes. He works outside, on location, summer and winter and also does nonrepresentational work in his South Bend studio. He credits much of his prowess in painting to the late Harold Zisla, Professor Emeritus, IUSB. You can take in David’s beautiful art during all Box Office hours (Tu-Fr, 12-4PM), and during all public events! A special Artist Reception will be held April 5, 2024, during the First Fridays Arts Tours.
