Red Barn Nature Series!
This program will take place at the red barn at Fidler Pond Park. Connect with nature, take in the serenity of this venue, enhance your knowledge, connect with others and have some good old fashioned outdoor fun! The program starts at 6:30pm and will run for about an hour. How do plants stay alive throughout the winter? What do they do if they have no green leaves to make food? What do plants do if it's likely they will die before Spring arrives? We'll address these questions- and yours- during this intergenerational, interactive session as Professor Larry Yoder and his botany students from Goshen College introduce you to the ways that plants are adapted to a seasonal climate.
