Red Barn Nature Series!
This new nature program will take place on Thursdays at 6:30pm at the "red barn" at Fidler Pond Park. Connect with nature, take in the serenity of this venue, enhance your knowledge, connect with others and have some good old fashioned outdoor fun! On Thursday, September 3rd, Nancy Brown will be speaking about Fidler Pond. She will explain its geological background and the rich mineral deposits that led to its excavation, along with giving a little history on its life as a gravel pit. She will then discuss its current role as a recreational park and wildlife habitat (and what types of critters people can find there!)
