Local Amish and experienced area craftsman have been creating all kinds of wonderful items for the auction. Items for the auction have begun arriving.
Quilts are donated annually by area Mennonite, Amish and other supporting churches, individuals and area quilt guilds.
The auction will include recreational equipment from area manufacturers and larger outdoor pieces like a play house, porch swings and sheds.
Imagine a bed and breakfast stay with massages, golfing, an in-home Amish meal, and tours with shopping and restaurant certificates. Or whittle down your project list of furnace or air conditioning maintenance, new concrete and labor, or a horse shoeing. Do your early Christmas shopping with many craft and gift items, as well.
All of this will be possible when you come to the Annual MDC Goldenrod Benefit Auction on August 26 and 27 at the Shipshewana Auction Barn located in Shipshewana. See you there.
