“How Employment and Disability Benefits Work Together” (Part I)
ADEC’s upcoming Family Forum will explain how people with disabilities may be able to keep their benefits while they pursue meaningful employment. Everyone is invited to attend this free webinar hosted by ADEC’s employment services manager, Susan Faltynski.
Fear of the benefits cliff can make people feel like they must choose between employment or their critical benefits. However, learning how income affects the different types of disability benefits can help people make informed decisions for themselves and their families. Tune in to learn about SSI, SSDI, Medicaid, ABLE Accounts, Ticket to Work, and more.
ADEC’s information-packed Family Forum “How Employment and Disability Benefits Work Together” will take place in two parts. Part one will be on Wednesday, October 21, and part two will be on Wednesday, November 18, both at 1pm EST. The webinar will take place on GoToWebinars; community members may register at adecinc.com. The webinar will also stream at ADEC’s Gaining Grounds Conference Center for those without access to technology. Seating is limited and attendees must abide by social distancing guidelines.
