Free Community Health Screenings in Warsaw

Goshen Health System will offer a number of free cancer screenings to the community during its Community Screening Day on Thursday, October 28, from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Holiday Inn Express, 3825 Lake City Highway, Warsaw.

FREE cancer screenings and assessments include:
Breast Cancer Risk Assessment - Person evaluations and self-breast exam education
Lung Health Assessments - Lung function test and, if necessary, free follow-up evaluation with our pulmonologist
Prostate Cancer Screening - PSA blood test
Colon Cancer Screening - Receive a fecal occult blood home test
Skin Cancer Screening - For specific areas of concern

Additional, non-cancer screenings ? such as muscle, joint and balance; diabetes; BMI and heart monitor pattern assessments ? will also be free of charge. Individuals may also participate in vascular screenings to assess risk of stroke, abdominal aneurism and Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD); fasting lipid profiles, blood glucose, bone density and liver enzyme screenings for a nominal fee. In addition, flu shots will be available for $20.
