Everence Youth Savings Week
Area residents are invited to join the Goshen office of Everence for their annual youth savings event the week of August 6-10 at 1301 College Avenue.
The event will help adults teach their children and grandchildren about the value of saving money for the future. There will be games and other activities for children as well.
The event will help encourage parents and grandparents to start early in helping their children and grandchildren learn the advantages of saving money for short- or long-term goals.
Young families can also learn about other Everence services that can help them, including term life insurance, student loans and financial planning.
Everence Federal Credit Union will deposit an extra $5 whenever a child or youth makes a deposit of $15 or more, or when they open a new savings account (deposit of $15 required) during the youth savings event.
Children can show off their mathematical and computer skills by playing online, interactive games at Everence.com. Children also can work with their parents and grandparents to determine how their savings will grow with one of our online financial calculators.
Families can tour their local Everence Federal Credit Union office, meet the staff members and find out what the staff members can do to help them meet their financial goals.
Everence helps individuals, organizations and congregations integrate finances with faith through a national team of advisors and representatives. Everence offers banking, insurance and financial services with community benefits and stewardship education. Everence is a ministry of Mennonite Church USA and other churches.
