Circuit Breaker Explained-History and Possible Implications to Schools, Countiew
CIRCUIT BREAKER EXPLAINED – HISTORY AND POSSIBLE IMPLICATIONS TO SCHOOLS, COUNTIES AND CITIES. On Wednesday evening, October 27, at 6:30 we will be making a presentation on the proposed Constitutional amendment to be decided at the General Election on Tuesday.
The two executives will discuss the history leading up to the circuit breaker laws and the anticipated effects of their addition to the Indiana Constitution. Elkhart County Commissioner Mike Yoder was instrumental in the research for this presentation and supports its message, but will not be present due to schedule conflicts.
And Mayor Kauffman stated, “Circuit breakers will not do what some people think that they will.” Dr. Stahly added, “Circuit breakers will have unanticipated negative consequences for residents of Elkhart County and the City of Goshen. I hope residents will join us on Wednesday evening to learn about the important matter that they will be voting on on the second of November.” Both of these statements will be explained fully at the presentation.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend this meeting. Time will be allowed for questions and answers to address specific concerns.
