Event Description:
AC/DC Electrical Systems Training for facilities & maintenance technicians, machine technicians, and related production support. Amatrol’s AC/DC Electrical Learning System (990-ACDC1) is a portable solution when training space is limited but comprehensive knowledge and skill building cannot be sacrificed. This 990-ACDC1 workstation along with our instructor-led training format will provide the fundamentals of AC and DC electrical systems used for power and control in industrial, commercial, agricultural, and residential applications. Using a variety of input, output, and other electrical components it offers industry-relevant skills including how to operate, install, design, and troubleshoot basic AC/DC electrical circuits. This system provides the knowledge and skills you need with unmatched flexibility. Instructor Bio: Instructor Michael White has taught Electrical Technology in several different programs at the Westside Institute of Technology for over 10 years. He was formerly a 3rd class Stationary Engineer (steam), and worked in many different industries as a plant electrician or facility technician. Has an Associate’s Degree from Ivy Tech in HVAC and currently attends Indiana University South Bend in the School of Education program. He currently teaches courses at Ivy Tech Community College in Basic Electricity, Motors and Motor Controls, HVAC Circuits and Controls.
