Oakwood Resort Serves as Host Site for Wooden Boat Show
Syracuse, IN - May 23, 2019 - Trip Advisor® Certificate of Excellence winner, Oakwood Resort announces they will once again serve as the host site for the Wawasee Wooden Boat Show. The show is scheduled to take place Saturday, June 22, 2019, from 10:00am until 3:00pm. For those wishing to participate, there will be a Thunder Run around Lake Wawasee, Indiana’s largest natural lake, at the conclusion of the show. This is a casual gathering of wooden boat owners and will not include any formal judging of the boats.
Food and beverage service will be available through The Pier and Back Porch Restaurant. Additionally, there will be an on-land display area for those who prefer to leave their boat parked on a trailer. The Wawasee Wooden Boat Show is open to all Woodie owners and spectators with no pre-registration required. Anyone who plans on bringing a boat, however, is asked to please contact the event organizers at WawaseeWoodenBoats@gmail.com so they may plan accordingly.
