Free History Bike Tour
Name:
Free History Bike Tour
Date:
June 22, 2017
Time:
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM EDT
Event Description:
This is a chance to get to know some of the City parks which you may not know even exist. Some Park and City history will be included, often through the lens of Goshen’s urban forest. We won’t ride hard, but we will ride steadily. Some of the route will take us onto streets, so bikers should be experienced with vehicle traffic. Thursday, June 22, from 6:30–8 pm: Join Aaron for a two hour bike tour of Goshen’s City Parks on the north and west sides of town. Participants will meet at Rieth Interpretive Center, 410 West Plymouth Avenue. The tour will begin at Shanklin Park and head west before turning north and then finally finishing at the millrace canal tailgates and the Goshen Brewing Company. Park stops may include Bakersfield Park, Pringle Park, Rogers Park, Oakridge Park, and Rock Run Park.
