This introduction to digital photography is for ages 8 to 13 and will include getting to know your camera, lighting and how to compose a photo. Participants will learn and practice photographing people, night/candlelight, sports, pets, wildlife, landscapes and flowers. We will also talk and learn about what to do after the shot, like uploading and how to keep your photos organized. In addition, class members will learn a bit about editing and manipulating their photos. During the last class, which will be open for parents to attend, participants will share their best photos. Please bring your own point-and-shoot or DSLR (digital single-lens reflex) digital camera. Classes meet on Mondays, October 5 to November 16, from 6-7 pm, at the Rieth Interpretive Center. $45 class fee, pre-register at the Park Dept Office.
