Shanklin Pool opens for 2017 season

Whether your summer fun includes water slides, diving boards, lap swims, open swims, swim lessons, pool parties or just sunbathing, Shanklin Pool is your summer hot spot! Our concession stand is open during public swim hours with a full menu. The pool opens May 27, and the last day of operation will be July 30, or when the Goshen Community School Corporation resumes the 2017–2018 school year. Opening and closing dates are weather-dependent. All patrons visiting Shanklin Pool are required to purchase a pool photo ID for $2/resident or $3/non-resident. The ID is valid for three years. With the photo ID, patrons will pay daily or twilight admission fees. Season pass purchase includes photo ID. Open Public Swim Monday–Friday: Daily hours: 12 noon–4 pm Twilight hours: 6–8 pm Saturday–Sunday: 12 noon–7 pm Daily Admission rates for Resident/Non-Resident 2 years and under: Free with paid adult Youths (3–17 years): $2.50/3.50 Adults (18+): $3.50/4.50 Seniors (60+): $2.50/3.50 Twilight Admission Returning daily visitor: $2 Twilight visitor only: Above daily admission applies Season Pass for Resident/Non-Resident Youths (3–17 years): $42/60 Adults (18+): $52/70 Seniors (60+): $38/48 Family*: $105/165 *A family consists of parent(s)/guardian(s) and their legal dependents Adult Lap Swim Monday–Friday: 11 am–12 noon Daily admission applies Group Rates: Half-price daily admission is offered to organizations or corporations with a Federal Tax ID Number that have 10 or more guests visiting the pool. Organizations must schedule group visits with the pool manager in advance; call 533-7616. A Federal Tax ID Number must be presented prior to the visit in order to receive the group rate. Otherwise, the full admission price will be charged—no exceptions. One adult per 10 youths is required. Pool Rental Saturday and Sunday: 10 am–12 noon, or 7–9 pm; $225 + tax per two-hour time slot, for up to 30 guests.
