Truma Corporation Breaks Ground for New North American Headquarters



 
Elkhart, IN, November 26, 2018 – Truma Corporation broke ground on a 44,000 square foot building to house their North American headquarters at 2000 Harman Drive, Elkhart, Indiana.  The building will have a warehouse, two service bays, a climate chamber to test RVs and installed appliances, along with a two-story office.  The façade of the building will have Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) Panels and insulated wall panels.  This building has been designed to be energy efficient by utilizing a Geo-Thermal Heating and Cooling system, a solar system and LED lighting throughout.

Truman has grown so much in North America that we are now building a Headquarters in Elkhart 70 years later. This modern building will help us grow further and will offer state-of-the-art work environment for all our team members.”
Nuway Construction, a design/build general contractor located in Goshen, Indiana, was chosen for the project.  According to Andy Nesbitt, President of Nuway Construction, “This project is a unique design and will stand out to those passing by on County Road 6.  For the office portion, we are using a combination of ACM panels and glass to give it a sleek modern look. It is a great honor to be partnering with Truma as they expand in North America.  Their products and service to the RV industry are top notch and match what Nuway brings to the construction industry. The end of August 2019 will complete this project.”
