HONORED FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
December 11, 2018 – Interra Credit Union, headquartered in Goshen, is the recipient of a Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award. The award was part of a statewide competition, sponsored by the Indiana Credit Union League, and was presented at its annual convention which was held recently in Indianapolis. It recognizes credit unions for their community service and external projects.
Interra’s entry highlighted its Power of the Hour staff service project, reported Meegan Siegwarth, Vice President of Marketing. At its professional development day, credit union staff worked on projects for The Boys and Girls Clubs of Elkhart County, Blue Star Mothers, Soup of Success, Ryan’s Place, The Window and Project Linus.
