January 17, 2019 – Gina Champion has joined Interra Mortgage as an originator, Andy Harlow, mortgage sales manager, announced recently. Most recently the branch manager at Interra’s Shipshewana office, she is a seasoned professional, with almost 30 years of experience and expertise in all types of financial services functions, including previous mortgage-related experience.
Champion will serve members throughout Interra’s eastern footprint, including LaGrange County and beyond, and headquartered at the Shipshewana office. “We are fortunate to have someone with Gina’s background and relationships within the area,” Harlow said. Representing the credit union, she will work with members on all types of residential purchase and refinance loans – conventional, construction, FHA, USDA and nonconforming programs.
“I started my career in the banking industry after high school and have gained experience in almost all positions,” Champion said. “I know what it takes, working hard to build trusted and lasting relationships with the members I serve.”
Active in the community, she is involved with Habitat for Humanity, LaGrange County Chamber of Commerce, Steuben County Chamber of Commerce and Days of Caring. A lifelong LaGrange County resident, Champion resides in Orland with her husband and daughter.
