5th Annual Bottlecaps & Corks, to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Elkhart County
Elkhart, IN—June 6, 2018-Searching for the best way to celebrate summer? Look no further than Bottlecaps & Corks- Michiana’s ONLY Amateur Tasting Competition and Fundraiser on June 30th from 5:00-9:00 pm (5-6pm for VIP & 6-9pm for G/A) at Wellfield Botanic Gardens in Elkhart. You can sample dozens of locally homemade beers, ciders, meads, and wines. Enjoy LIVE music from Wilson’s Reservoir from 6-8pm, eat from local food trucks and vendors and come take in the scenery at the botanic gardens!
Your ticket price will not only get you into the event, but it will also help to make a big impact on the lives of our youth here in Elkhart County.   All proceeds from the event will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Elkhart County and its mission of providing local youth with mentors through our community and site based programs.
This is the 5th year for the annual event, founded by local wine maker Andrew Hicks when he was on the board at Big Brothers Big Sisters. “You will find a lot of quality cabs, zins, and IPAs at the event, but another cool aspect is serving something unique and different to see how other people like it,” says Hicks. “As a ticket holder, it’s fun to test your palate.”
It’s not too late to enter your mix for tasting! All entries will be judged by local professionals & attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorites, with winners in the People’s Choice competition announced at the end of the night.
Tickets are on sale now and are $60 for VIP, $40 for general admission, $45 at the door & $20 for designated drivers. For more information or to purchase admission tickets, visit or call the BBBSEC office at 574-830-5013.  You can also email
