In 1963 Bob D. Ehret opened the Rieth Rohrer Ehret Funeral Home in Goshen with the help of Don Rieth & Wally Rohrer. In 1967 he acquired the Lienhart Funeral Home in Wakarusa. Both facilities were in need of many improvements. Parking, visitation/chapel space and family rooms were just a few projects needed to be completed.
Today we have increased parking at both locations. Both downtowns Goshen and Wakarusa use these parking areas when they're not being used for funerals. Innovative family rooms were also incorporated in both facilities. Larger & multiple viewing rooms are available in both locations. Affordable funerals have always been a part of our Services.
Bob's legacy continues in every way. We pay attention to what family needs are so we can continue to make improvements. We continue to make service our number one priority.
Not only do we provide quality service today but we have preserved local history within our facility by means of old pictures and artifacts. You can come view these historic pictures and artifacts in what was the original Culp Funeral Home along with portraits of Henry Culp, Elmer Culp, and Ephraim Culp, on loan from David Culp and family. (Note: the Culp Corporation was closed and now the building is operated by Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home.)
