Circle of Caring Birthplace at Goshen Hospital is designed around you and your family. Our care focuses on keeping parents and baby together. That means fathers can participate in the delivery and are welcome to stay the night. Mom and baby are cared for by the same nurse who provides support to both new and experienced parents. We encourage rooming in, where baby never has to leave your room. Our Baby-Friendly designation means you are surrounded by the kind of health care that’s essential for your baby’s healthy start in life. We provide breastfeeding mothers with the information, confidence and skills needed to successfully initiate and continue breastfeeding their babies.
We know how important the birth of your child is to you. That’s why we’ve created a special birthplace where you receive quality health care, professional advice and caring support before, during and after the birth of your child. We offer a Tiny Details program, where you can meet privately with our experienced obstetrical nurses at any time during your pregnancy to personalize your plan of care. We also have lactation support and weekly mother support groups. We also place a special importance on your comfort and your baby’s safety.
