DESCRIPTION:Ashley Jordan-Director of Acts of Service\n\nAshley Jordan is Director of Acts of Service. She joined the Community Foundation in December 2019 as the program became part of the organization. She inspires generosity through the gift of time by connecting businesses\, social clubs and community partners to nonprofit's volunteer needs. She was previously philanthropic relations coordinator for Lippert Components. She has also worked as a medical massage therapist with her own business and as a firefighter and first responder for Sturgis\, Michigan. She volunteers with Special Olympics\, Catsnip Etc. and Loveway. Her heart for older adults resulted in the 2018 Senior Advocacy Award from the Council on Aging. She won the Humanity in Action award from the City of Elkhart for her work during the COVID-19 crisis. Ashley has an associate's degree from Glen Oaks Community College. Her fianc  Ryan has a daughter named Kyra\, that she considers her bonus child.  She enjoys kayaking\, camping\, fishing\, reading and of course volunteering. She loves rescuing animals\, especially cats. Her superpower is connecting with people.\n\n\n\nAshley will share with us how the Acts of Service is connecting corporations and community members with service opportunities.
