DESCRIPTION:The CAPS Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Melinda Konrath-Fielding as president and CEO beginning on June 4\, 2018. Konrath-Fielding follows Candy Yoder who has served at CAPS for 29 years. Yoder will be joining the Community Foundation of Elkhart County as Chief Program Officer beginning July 1\, 2018.\n\n Konrath-Fielding brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership. She has a degree in nursing and has served in director of nursing roles at Madison Center and Hospital as well as the St. Joseph County Health Department. Konrath-Fielding spent the last 13 years as president/CEO of Northern Indiana Maternal & Child Health Network\, an organization she co-founded. She brings experience in grant management\, strategic planning and organizational development. She was drawn to the CAPS opportunity to further extend her impact.\n\n"Melinda's proven leadership and organizational skills fit well with the demands and expectations of the President and CEO role at CAPS\," said CAPS Board Chair Brian Hall. "She has a heart for others\, making her an ideal candidate for (our organization).
