DESCRIPTION:Dear Employers and Community Members\,\n\nHorizon Education Alliance will be supporting Fairfield's efforts in offering Mock Interviews for their 10th grade students\, which allows them interview experience and prepares students for the future workforce. We are reaching out to the the Chamber Members to inquire if you or a co-worker would be available to help with our upcoming event:\n\n\n \n What: Mock Interview Event\n \n \n When: Friday\, May 9th (8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. or 11:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m. or ALL DAY)\n \n \n Where: Fairfield High School \n \n \n Who: Business Partners & Community Members & Fairfield 10th grade students\n \n\n\nWith your assistance\, we hope to run about 160 students through the Mock Interview process\, with each student participating in two interviews. This experience will be a significant and beneficial opportunity for the Fairfield students participating! Not only will this event fulfill a graduation requirement\, but it is also essential in preparing them for life after graduation.\n\nAfter several days of interview preparation by the students\, your time interviewing our students will be the culmination. Our goal is for the student to experience what it feels like to interview versus just watching videos or reading about it.\n\nWe will furnish a list of interview questions and suggestions for you to use during the interview process. You will NOT need to prepare anything before the event! \n\nIf you are interested in helping us\, please complete THIS EASY FORM.\n\nWe will contact you with more information as the date gets closer.\n\nIf you have colleagues that might be willing to help\, please forward our email! \n\n Thank you for considering us and please send me your questions!
