Every Wednesday in August at 4 and 6 p.m.\, there will be a program designed to help people get empowered on topics such as home repair\, budgeting\, cooking and more. The purpose of this series to help people improve their basic life skills and pick up new ones. It's never too late for self-improvement. With attendance at all five sessions\, eligible attendees will receive a brand new slow cooker courtesy of the United Way of Elkhart County and be entered to win $50 from Centier Bank.
