DESCRIPTION:The Elkhart County Young Republicans are hosting a question and answer forum for the 15 candidates on the special election ticket to replace Third District Congressman Mark Souder on Thursday\, June 10\, 2010 at 7 p.m. at Grace Bible Baptist Church in New Paris. Located: 68080 CR 23 in New Paris\, IN. (map) Precinct Chairs from Elkhart\, LaGrange\, Kosciusko\, and Noble counties have been invited. The event is open to the public and general admission is free. The Third District Forum will provide a unique opportunity for the public to hear the candidates as well as meet the men and women responsible for selecting the Republican nominee in the June 12th caucus.  All candidates have committed to attending and participating in the evening's events. Each candidate will receive several questions selected at random as well as an opportunity to express their intentions as a congressional candidate.   The Elkhart County Young Republicans look forward to playing an important role in the political process\, striving to keep the public informed and engaged. The group is impacting the community by connecting like-minded individuals with a passion for making a difference.
