Fairfield High School Performing Arts presents 'Seussical,' the musical
GOSHEN — Fairfield High School students will be presenting the musical “Seussical” this Friday, Nov. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 17 in the Fairfield Jr/Sr High School Auditorium located at 67530 U.S. 33, Goshen.
Seussical is based on the works of Dr. Seuss and is written by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. This production is directed by Ben Kambs, Jacob Zehr and Larry Becker. Since its Broadway debut in 2000, Seussical has captivated audiences with its compelling musical score, fast-paced narrative style and vibrant costumes and scenery.
This production features familiar characters from Dr. Seuss’s stories in new and creative ways sending the audience on a fantastic journey led by the iconic Cat and the Hat, played by junior Seth Corbin. Other characters that will entertain the audience are Mayzie Labird played by senior Hannah Shetler, Gertrude McFuzz played by senior Kate Reese and Horton played by senior Clayton Thomas.
The show begins at 7 p.m. with a 15 minute intermission. Tickets are $10 each. Reserve your seat by calling Fairfield High School at (574) 831-2184.
