A master slide guitarist and Delta-styled finger-picker, Dave displays the traditional technique of striking bass lines with his thumb while plucking melody lines or implied chords with his forefinger tricking the ears into believing that two guitarists are performing when in reality there is only one. Dave has thirty years of touring experience in clubs, coffee houses, festivals, and colleges. Whether covering a time-tested blues standard, or a newly written original, Dave's performances are always exciting, engaging, and energetic.

Expect an intimate stripped down sound delivered with great vocal harmonies, and as many different acoustic instruments as four guys can play (guitars, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, upright and electric bass, and light percussion).

May 29 Swick & Jones Appearing at Oakwood Resort
Matt Swick and Garry Jones have been performing tunes together since 2008. They bring together elements of folk, blues, Americana, rock, and pop music for a wonderful blend of music that anyone can enjoy. Matt Swick plays guitar (primarily acoustic), sings, and writes a large number of the original songs featured by Swick & Jones. Garry Jones is a jack-of-all-trades, and master of all. Jones plays cajon, djembe, and a wealth of other percussion instruments. Additionally, Jones lends years of experience in blues harp and is known to add sweet vocal harmonies to the mix.

May 30 I Try Scuba!
Ever wonder what it?s like to take a breath underwater? Or what it?s like to be a fish? Find out at Shanklin Pool on Saturday, May 30 and Saturday, July 18 from 10 am to noon. Join dive instructor Greg Stoner and other master divers who will be on hand to let you experience the underwater world. All equipment will be provided. Just bring your swimsuit and towel and be ready to get wet. This introduction to scuba (which stands for self-contained underwater breathing apparatus) is just $5 per day! Pre-registration is required at the Goshen Parks & Recreation Office by Wednesday, May 27 and July 15. For ages 10 to adult.

The trio of Doug Hartle, Barb Jones, and Dave Horner make up Classic Voice. They are a professional vocal entertainment group that sings classic hits from the 50's through the 90's, rockabilly to rock, swing to standards. Their voices blend as they sing songs from Sam Cook, The O'Jays, Jimmy Buffet, The Doobie Brothers, The Monkees, Neil Diamond, The Brian Setzer Orchestra and much, much more.
