Events for December 2015

Creative Dance, Dance Sampler, Pre-Ballet/Modern, Modern/Ballet, and Modern/Ballet for Children with Special Needs. The next session begins the week of January 4 and goes through May 5.This session may be paid for in two installments; first payment is due upon registration, and second payment is due prior to first class. All class sizes have limited enrollment, so please register early to ensure availability. ? Priority registration for returning dancers begins November 2, and open registration begins November 16. Registration deadline is December 18. ? This exciting session prepares dancers for the Spring Concert on stage in May. In addition to class instruction, dancers will learn choreography and be involved in costume fittings for the performance. This process requires commitment from dancers for a 15- to 17-week session. ? A spring concert dance costume, chosen by instructors, will need to be purchased for this session, not to exceed $50. Drop your letters to Santa in the North Pole mailbox at the Goshen Public Library from November 9 through December 11, and Santa and his helpers will make sure you get a return letter sent right to your house! There is no postage necessary- just make sure to include your full mailing address, and print neatly! The mailbox is located on the first floor of the library. Call David at the Goshen Parks & Recreation Office, (574) 534-2901, with questions.

Join us at our new location this year at Maple City Chapel (2015 Lincolnway East; Goshen, IN) as we celebrate a year of business.  The Goshen Chamber's Annual Meeting will recognize award winners including: Maple Leaf, Volunteer of the Year, Community Contribution, Small Business of the Year, Recognition of Members of the 2015 Board of Directors, and Introduction of 2016 Board Members.

Purchase a table for your company, or buy an individual ticket to attend.  A table of 8 is $320 and an individual ticket is $40.  

The Goshen Chamber is also in need of some sponsors for the event.  We have two levels to help us in: first is a Gold Sponsor.  The Gold Sponsor cost is $150.  The second level is a Silver Sponsor.  The cost of the Silver Sponsor is $100.  Sponsorships get you recognition at the event, program, and in the business journal.

 

Join WNDU TV and the Marines to support Toys for Tots. Drop off your toy or cash donation at the main entrance of the mall.

Concord Conference Center. Tickets must be purchased in advance by December 4. Join Santa for some milk and cookies, while you are enjoying your snack and listen to a wonderful Christmas story. Each child will receive a gift from Santa. Children are welcome to come in their pajamas. Tickets on sale at Customer Service starting November 1. $5/per child. Limited Seating.

Sunday Jams will soon start up for the season at the "V" (Goshen VFW Post 985). This season we will JAM on the 3rd Sunday.  Doors open at Noon. Public Welcome. Music is Free. Food, Non Smoking, All Ages.. Some of the best music around.   Monthly 3rd Sunday .    Come in and support your local VFW and its members.   Just ask if interested in becoming a member.
