First Friday Author Signings and Goshen Arts Tour
Meet local author and founder of LoveWay, Sandy Weatherwax. Her book, DANCING IN THE WIND, is a true story about a family living the life they have been given, making mistakes, but learning and traveling upward. Sandy hopes that the reader will understand that God's promises are greater than any earthly tragedy. We also welcome Pati Chandler, the author of IS THERE A DIET FOR CHRONIC ILLNESS?. This is not a book that asks you to give up foods in order to lose weight. Rather, this is a way of eating for health. What to eat, and why; and by extension, what not to eat and why. Pati writes from her own experience with arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis and fibromyalgia. Chat with both authors between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on First Friday, November 7 at Better World Books. Thanks to the Goshen Elementary art teachers, this First Fridays kids will have the opportunity to make their own kinetic sculpture while learning about artist Alexander Calder, an American sculptor who is credited with inventing the mobile. FREE while supplies last at Better World Books - Goshen!
